Travelling to Romantic Egypt

Do you want to receive a gift from your boyfriend or significant other such as an anklet, ring, a diamond bracelet, or diamond stud earrings? At the least, you might even think of a diamond watch or Mont Blanc pen, too. Even if you deny it, a piece of diamond can certainly lift your spirits higher. You’re bound to be singing the sone “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” repeatedly once that sparkling stone is on your hand already.

For men out there who are even more interested in learning female psychology, you would do well to take note of the fact that girls wear diamond on their third finger due to an Egyptian belief that vein of love comes to the top of the third finger straight from the heart. That’s how romantic Egyptians are, and it makes me want to consider travelling to Egypt because of this.

Actually, I want to go to Egypt not just because of their romanticism but also because of the Pyramids of Gyza. I’ve always wanted to see these up close and personal.

* If hiring a car, collision damage insurance/waiver is a good investment

* If hiring a car carefully check it for dents, scratches etc and insist the rental company makes a written note to confirm.

* Carry a 2nd 'dummy' wallet with a small amount of cash in case you are mugged - not likely in Australia.

Shapaholic here are some tips for you...

*If you are about to do some shopping and are scheduled to visit the Philippines, don't. Do your shopping in the Philippines. Even designer clothes are sold cheaper in the Philippines than the countries they are made in. Many Filipinos living overseas come home to see their families and shop at the same time. The savings oftentimes pays for their vacation.

*Aside from the goods, you can save substantially by having your medical, dental and cosmetic needs done in the Philippines. Ask for referrals from friends (or the hotel concierge for minor services) and choose the best ones.

Travel Tip on Valuables

tRavelers heRe are mOre valuable info tips:

*Avoid bringing valuables. A decent watch and faux accessories (optional) are all you need. But in case you did bring some expensive jewelry, deposit them and your other valuables in the hotel safe (most major hotels provide them for free).

*Make sure you make a photocopies of your passport and tickets just in case you loose them. Keep the copies in a separate locations - place them in the deep pockets of your luggage.

*It is a good idea to use a belt bag to put your money, passport and other valuables when on the road rather than a bag. And position it in front of your body and under your shirt if possible. Better yet, use a money belt and hide it under your clothing.

*Never leave your bag and other valuables on the beach or at the poolside when swimming. It is a lot safer to leave them in your hotel room.

Travel Tips During Journey

* Reduce the pain of popping ears; suck a sweet, swallow hard or gently blow your nose.

* Try to drink plenty of water to avoid becoming dehydrated- the cabins highly pressurized air is very dry.

* Ask cabin crew if you can move to a row of unoccupied seats so you can travel in style.

* Minimize jet lag by adjusting your watch to 'local' time along your journey.

* Walk around a little on the plane to help circulation and make the most of any refuel stops for a good stretch.

* Try to sleep during the flight (the airlines normally turn the lights off to help).

•Take an extra duffel bag - it can be used as a day bag and to bring back a few souvenirs.
•Don't pack your passport in your rucksack - keep it in your hand luggage with your tickets.
•Try and memorize your passport number incase you lose it!
•Write down addresses of friends and family, you may want to send postcards to, in a small address book.
•Arrange for diabetic/vegetarian/vegan meals for your flight with your travel agent.
•Remove old destination tags to avoid confusion
•On the day of your flight call the airport to check that your flight is on time.
